Available account types include: Individual, Joint (Tenants with Rights of Survivorship, Tenants in Common, Community Property, Tenants by the Entirety), Custodial (Uniform Transfer to Minors Act (UTMA)) and Uniform Gifts to Minors Act (UGMA)), Minor IRA, Traditional IRA or Rollover IRA, Roth IRA, Inherited IRA, Simplified Employee Pension (SEP) IRA, Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees (SIMPLE) IRAs and most types of Trusts and Estates.

There is no minimum to open a Self-Directed brokerage account. However, accounts that remain unfunded for more than 30 days or have a balance below $100 for a minimum of 3 months, may be closed.

Please note to be considered for margin and options privileges, there is a $2,000 deposit requirement and mutual funds purchased within your brokerage account have a minimum investment requirement.
